Resume Benchmarking Survey

We conducted a comprehensive resume benchmarking survey in order to identify best practices that job seekers can use to maximize their chance for success.

The survey included over 3,000 resumes from 12 different careers.

We benchmarked resume length, structure, content and other factors.

Our goal was to identify best practices that job seekers could use to optimize their resumes.

The survey found large variations across career fields. This variation led us to conclude that the best practices need to be specific to the career field. What works in one career might be a mistake in another career.

We will be posting the results of the benchmarking survey along with specific best practice recommendations.
